Several Republican members of Congress are demanding that the House Committee on Oversight and Reform hold hearings on “potential illegal activities” revealed in Dinesh D’Souza’s documentary, “2000 Mules.”
According to a letter spearheaded in part by Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., several members of the GOP are calling for the chairwoman of the committee, Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., to “investigate” evidence presented regarding ballot trafficking in key battleground states during the 2020 presidential election, including Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Arizona.
The hit film “2000 Mules” revealed shocking evidence of a nationwide ballot trafficking conspiracy. Election integrity organization True the Vote used technologically-advanced research methods like geotracking to pinpoint the movements of ballot traffickers, or “mules.”
“Collecting and delivering ballots in this manner is a violation of the law in the locations where the activities occurred,” the letter states. The letter additionally points out the following data regarding ballot trafficking that took place through ballot drop boxes:
Congress’s letter also notes that “54,000 individuals delivered votes to at least five drop boxes each in these four states. These individuals could have delivered hundreds of thousands of illegal votes in these states.”
D’Souza commented on Twitter, “The GOP moves slowly, but it’s moving now. Wait and see what happens after the midterms when we take the House!”
The evidence presented in “2000 Mules” has moved other states to act toward securing election integrity. In June, the Texas GOP overwhelmingly voted to reject the certified results of the 2020 presidential election in light of staggering evidence of fraud related to ballot trafficking.
Further, the Maricopa County Republican Committee (MCRC) Executive Governance Committee voted in early July to reject the certification of the Arizona county’s 2020 presidential election results, primarily based on evidence of fraud presented in “2000 Mules.”
“The illegal activity exposed in the documentary ‘2000 Mules’ is far more serious than the aforementioned topics and must be investigated by the Committee. We look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible,” the letter concluded.
